A Light In The Dark
Part 1

A small group of Transformers were running through the warehouse area on Gala III. They had located one on Novatron’s secret research bases. Now they were fleeing for their lives. Nightprobe, one of the group members was wounded during the retreat and did his best to keep up with the other.
" I’m slowing you guys down," Nightprobe gasped, as he leaned up against one of the buildings. The others gathered round him.
" No your not," Zennia, the team leader spoke sternly as she looked at Nightprobe who only shook his head.
" I’ll only get you guys captured," he replied.
" You’re coming, even if I have to carry you myself," Zennia spoke her red optics flashing brightly. Zennia loved the stubborn, hardheaded Warriorbot. From the alley opening Depthcharge signaled for everyone to get moving. The group began their escape back to their shuttle. They came out in the open, and stopped.
" I don’t like this," Starwolf snarled, under his face mask. " It’s too quiet."
For once, Zennia, I’m actually agreeing with Star-doggie here," Depthcharge replied.
" I know," Zennia spoke, it was indeed too quiet. Almost as if..." They’re jamming us! Run for it!!!" The group scattered just as a hail of missiles rained down on the spot where they had just stood.
"No, wonder we couldn’t reach anybody at the Avalon," Tank spoke gruffly returning fire," they didn’t know that we were being jammed."
" Well they do now," Starwolf replied as he blasted two enemy jets out of the sky.
Just when things went from bad to worse, the cavalry arrived. The Autobot’s shuttle provided cover fire making the Decepticons back off, but they did not retreat. The Avalon hovered above the ground, its ramp touched down. Zennia and her group ran in, " Get us out of here," she yelled to the pilots. The shuttle began to move forward.
" Wait where’s my sister," Starwolf cried as he realized that his sister was not with them.
" There she is," Tank shouted pointing to a totally white figure running amidst the explosions. Then a blast went off right next to her. The blast knocked her to the ground where she laid, stunned. Starwolf was about to go after her when Zennia stopped him.
" I can’t let you go," she spoke placing a hand on Starwolf’s arm stopping him from leaving. " There’s nothing you can do for her." Zennia saw the hurt look on Starwolf’s face as he pulled away. The shuttle quickly left the planet.
