Return of Skydancer

A small Auotbot group led by Optimus Prime journeyed to a bad part of Cybertron. One that has been so damaged by the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Several days ago they became aware of a faint signal originating from the ruins of an old abandon Autobot base.

They arrived at what was once know as Silvacon, an Autobot base, but was now a charred, blackened shell. Transforming Optimus began splitting everyone into teams of four and told them to spread out and search the base. Once everyone was paired up they went their separate ways. Optimus was accompained with Sideswipe, Bluestreak, and the newest member BlackWidow, who was a former Decepticon. They walked cautiously down the corridor stepping over fallen debris and pushing dangling wires out of their way. " Anything on the scanner, Sideswipe," Optimus asked.

" Nothing yet," the young Autobot answered, then the scanner that he was holding began to beeo slowly." Wait, I've picked up something. Its coming from up ahead." The group moved forward in the direction that the scanner indicated.

Down in the engineering room Wheeljack, Magenta, and Waspa finally managed to get the power turned on. Lights came on all over the base. Optimus and his group turned off their lights. Sideswipe pointed to a door on their right, Optimus pressed the door release button, nothing. So they had to pry the doors open, he grabbed the left side while Bluestreak and BlackWidow pulled the right side open. The two heavy metal doors protested with groaning and creaking noises as they were forced open. Entering the room with their weapons ready, Optimus turned on the lights. When the lights glowed dimly as they cast an eerie glow over the large room. They spread out to search the room.

" OPtimus over here," Sideswipe called out as Optimus, Bluestreak, and BlackWidow walked over tho where he stood. Lying partially covered by fallen debris was a blue/white/green form of an Autobot." He's still functioning, but just bearly."

" Lets get this debris off of him," Optimus spoke as they began to claer away the junk. Once freed of the debris BlackWidow volunteered to carry him back to Iacon, but Bluestreak and Sideswipe looked suspicious. Event though she had switched sides some of the Autobots didn't feel that she could be totally trusted. Optimus told both Bluestreak and Sideswipe to accompany her and the injured Autobot back to base.

After they were gone reports were coming in from the other search teams, except for Prowl's, and Opitmus was getting worried. He was relieved when he heard Prowl's voice over the comlink.

" Ah, Optimus," Prowl spoke over the comlink," I think that you should come down to the med-bay right away. We found something interesting."

" I'm on my way," the Autobot leader spoke as he hurried towards the med-bay.

Down in the med-bay Prowl and his team had stumbled onto something very interesting. They turned their attention towards the door when they heard running footsteps coming their way, and were relieved when Optimus entered.

" What did you find, Prowl," Optimus asked, Prowl stepped aside to reveal a badly damaged, almost unrecognizeable form of a white female Seeker jet with a red face. However Prime did recognize her.

" What should we do with her," Prowl asked, Optimus thought for a moment as he looked at the still form lying on the floor. For a brief moment he thought that he had seen a flicker of life in her white optics, or maybe it was the lights playing tricks.

" We'll take her back to Iacon with us," Optimus stated, the Autobots left the burnt out ruins and headed back to base.

After returning to Iacon, about 15 hours later Optimus Prime was called down to the Med-Bay by Ratchet. Arriving at the Med-Bay, Optimus was greeted by the Iacon's cheif medical doctor.

" What seems to be wrong," Optimus asked, concerned.

" I'll show you," Ratchet spoke as he motioned for the Autbot leader to follow him into the first repair room on their left. Inside the large room, Optimus saw Gammacron's chief medical doctor known as Turnpike there as well. On the table in the middle of the room was the white female Seeker jet that they had brought back with them from Silvacon. Now that she was all cleaned up, Optimus noticed that she beared a striking resemblance to Megatron, leader of the Decepticons.

" Hello, Optimus," greeted Turnpike. " Here to see our visitor?" As Ratchet and Optimus approached the table, Optimus could see the Decepticon symbols on her wings.

" Have you reactivated her," Optimus asked, as he looked at the two medical doctors. Both shook their heads no. " Well do it, please." Ratchet and Turnpike proceeded to reactivate the Decepticon. Within minutes the white and red form was totally recharged, but her form still remained still. After a couple of minutes her white optics flared to life. After her internal sensors did a check of all vital functions, she sat up and looked around the room, confused.

" Where am I," she asked unsure.

" You are at the Autobot base, Iacon," Optimus replied stepping forward. " I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots," then he gestured towards the two doctors, " and this is Ratchet and Turnpike. Do you know who you are?" But Optimus already had a pretty good idea to who she was.

The white Decepticon femme shook her head as if to try and clear her thoughts. " The last thing I remember was a battle, getting blasted, blacking out, then waking up here. I just can't seem to remember anything."

" Optimus, she could be suffering from some sort of short term memory block or basically amnesia," Turnpike stated," and judging by for how long she was deactivated it might be possible."

Optimus stood there in silence, thinking. He was thinking about what to do with the Decepticon infront of him. He couldn't let her stay in Iacon, there were those in the Autobots that would make an example out of her amnesia or no amnesia. " Turnpike, can you take her to Gammacron and keep an eye on her,"Optimus asked as he turned to the female doctor.

" Sure, Optimus," Turnpike replied." It won't be a problem." She then walked over to the female Decepticon and helped her off the table and out of the repair room.

" I hope you know what you are doing, Prime," Ratchet remarked shaking his head. " Having her around will everything to go into a tailspin. Especially if her brother finds out, and he'll proably level the base to get her."

"Lets hope that he doesn't find out until she has regained her memory," Optimus replied, as he turned and walked out of the repair room and out of the Med-Bay.
